Education Through Television
The academic ability is affected as the children increased the time of watching television. They are watching the television for four hours daily. But television does not affect the children’s academic side.
Television has been used as an academic tool in the classrooms since 1970 for academic purposes. The children can get the subject ideas through the television programs. At the very young age children are learning the lessons visually through television. It is not possible in the classrooms.
There are many useful television channels which promote education for the children. They are discovery, national geography, and animal planet and so on. These channels show the programs based on educational nature and will be very useful for the children to get the ideas and help to implement those ideas in the classrooms. Research has found that the repetition of television programs will help the children to learn the cause, effect and the sequencing also develop their ability to understand the people around them.
Television tackles difficult questions of morality and the ethics, and this is the useful feature for the children to know about. The children are exposed to know about the cultures and new ideas through the television media. In order to convey the ideas in the classrooms, television helps a lot for the children to overcome their hurdles. If something that showed visually, the children will be eager and happy to watch it and it helps in registering things in an effective way in the brain of the children. If we use it correctly, television will be a useful tool for the people.
