EDUCATION IS A BASIC HUMAN RIGHT, PRIVATE SCHOOLS MUST BE RESISTED
The education goal was designed to ensure that every child in the world gets a primary school education. More than 58 million children lack access to schools till to date especially in Africa (sub-Saharan Africa) and south Asia.
Public learning is most affected since the government has failed to cope with the rising demand on public learning. 95% of parents can afford the demand of public schools. Private schools are favoring the rich since the fees are high.
The provision of basis education free of cost is not only a core of obligation of states but also a moral imperative. The ability of a student to attend a private school depends on how much money the parent has and as a result they lack the diversified system of learning and cultural plurality that is needed today. Private schools are mainly about money rather the education.
According to a study on private education by the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), a large number of low-fee private schools which target the poor families in developing countries are not registered.
They save their cost by hiring teachers who are not qualified thus making public school more preferable. People must stop commercializing private schools and let students study in a corrupt free institution. Corruption and gender inequality has affected the education for a long time.
Girls suffer when it comes to gender equality. Some communities still think educating a girl is a waste of time and money.
